This compact fixing bracket gives you a strong and simple way to secure two pieces of timber together from the inside of a corner joint. It is designed to reinforce 90 degree joins, helping you keep frames square and stable during construction or repair work. The bracket is useful in a wide range of projects including stud walls, garden structures, sheds, decking frames, outdoor timber builds and general DIY. Its small size makes it easy to position while still providing the strength needed for demanding jobs.
The bracket includes six pre drilled fixing holes, all staggered to stop screws from clashing inside the wood. Three fixing points sit on each face of the bracket, helping it grip both pieces of timber tightly. This layout spreads the load across the join and gives you a secure and balanced hold. For best results, two brackets should be used per corner, one on each side of the join. This creates a strong clamping effect and helps prevent movement under load, making the join more stable and durable.
