Barricade Brackets provide simple security for homes and gardens. They can be installed on the inner of a door frame and use a piece of wood to prevent access and break-ins. They are very easy to install and provide a very cost effective method of preventing unwanted access to your property. You receive two brackets in each order, allowing you to install a single piece of wood across the pair of brackets.
These brackets both work with 2" x 4" wood. The brackets can work with wood that is larger than 4" but it must be 2" thick in order to correctly fit in the brackets. The brackets can be installed wherever tighter security is needed. From the front door of your house, to the basement door or garage door. It is even suitable for business use in warehouses, workshops or more.
The barricade brackets must be installed level on each side of the door frame. On the U-Shaped brackets there are 3 screw holes with a hole at the front to allow easy access with a screwdriver. On the Z-Shaped brackets, there are 4 holes for screws. Once the brackets are installed, you should be able to simply slot a piece of 2" x 4" timber through the brackets to secure the door from unwanted access.
The brackets are made from heavy-duty Galvanised Steel. This ensures strength and peace of mind. You can choose between two styles of finish. The textured black finish is very stylish and will look great when used indoors. The bare Galvanised Steel version is perfect for use outdoors and in industrial settings.
These barricade brackets have been designed in the United Kingdom. Each one is manufactured at our premises in Norfolk.
