Bellamy "Build Your Own" Hexagonal Sandpit Bracket Kit
If you're looking for a fun addition to your garden, maybe you could build a sandpit. Our "Build Your Own" Kit will enable you to build a stunning hexagonal-shaped sand pit using these 6 brackets, some 20mm screws and some wooden boards you can purchase at any timber merchant or hardware store. The wood we would recommend is Treated Sawn Timber, 22mm x 150mm at any length you prefer.
A sandpit makes a fun addition to the garden. Children can build sandcastles, dig holes and enjoy sensory touch-and-feel play. It will serve as a perfect way to introduce some seaside spirit to your back garden and they can be built in any size to suit your outdoor space.
In this kit you receive six brackets in a choice of playful colours to enable you to secure each bracket fully. These brackets are made from Galvanised Steel, so the kit will remain free from rust for its lifetime. You will need to provide your own wood and screws. The brackets have been designed to work with 22mm x 150mm sawn timber, the length of the wood is of course down to your preference as to how large you would like to build your sandpit.
To build the sandpit, measure and cut 6 lengths of wood of the exact same size. Then use the brackets to connect each piece of wood end-to-end, use some 20mm screws to secure the wood to the brackets. Once you have connected all the pieces of wood and used all the brackets and screws, the sandpit will be complete. The only remaining thing to do is add some sand or some tarpaulin sheeting inside.
Each bracket is made from British Galvanised Steel which is then powdercoated in a choice of 4 colours which add additional durability as well as a smooth and easy to clean surface. The 4 colours available are Red, Blue, Yellow & Green. We also offer 4 subtle muted tones which make for great planters. These are Black, Brown, Dark Green and bare Galvanised Steel.
This product has been designed in the United Kingdom. Each one is manufactured at our premises in Norfolk.
